Apple Glasses, Gemini Upgrade, and India’s AI Push

AI is moving beyond chatbots!

Hey folks,

It’s Monday, so let’s quickly catch up on the some of the biggest and most interesting AI updates from the past few days.

The India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi highlighted India’s growing focus on AI hardware. Sarvam AI showcased its Kaze AI smart glasses, offering real-time assistance in a wearable form, while Reliance Jio introduced JioFrames with built-in camera, speakers, and AI features.

Meanwhile, chip giant Qualcomm demonstrated its humanoid robotics platform, and startup Vicharak presented edge AI computers that can run computer vision locally without cloud access. The event signals a shift toward on-device AI, where processing happens directly on hardware.

Apple is reportedly planning to launch AI-enabled smart glasses in 2026, while its full augmented reality glasses could arrive in 2028, according to research firm Omdia.

The company is said to be shifting focus from its Vision Pro headset to lighter, everyday wearable glasses. The AR version will use Micro-OLED displays, allowing high pixel density and improved efficiency. This reflects Apple’s long-term strategy of making AI part of everyday wearable devices.

Google has released Gemini 3.1 Pro, its latest advanced AI model designed to handle more complex and multi-step tasks.

The model builds on Gemini 3 Pro and is part of Google’s effort to expand AI beyond chat into execution. It is also now available on Geekflare Connect, allowing users to access its capabilities for workflows and automation. Google also introduced updates to its AI marketing assistant experiments.

Anthropic has launched Claude Code Security, a new AI-powered tool designed to detect vulnerabilities in software code.

Unlike traditional scanners that rely on fixed rules, Claude analyses how code behaves to find deeper issues like logic flaws and access control weaknesses. Currently in research preview, the tool shows how AI is becoming part of cybersecurity workflows.

That’s it for today’s AI News roundup.
